Pastor Bennett T. Cortez, also known as Pastor T, originates from Houston, Texas, and is the son of the late Pastor Bennett J. Cortez and First Lady Emeritus Ruth M. Cortez. With over three decades of marriage to his First Lady Vickie Thomas-Cortez, they are blessed with two children, Brooke and Bennett Tyrell, as well as eleven grandchildren. Pastor T's educational background includes studies in Klein ISD, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from The College of Biblical Studies, Houston, and a Master's degree from Concordia University, Chicago, specializing in Grant Writing and Biblical studies. Having heeded the call to ministry during his senior year of high school, Pastor T was licensed and ordained under the guidance of the Late Pastor Bennett Cortez. He has served as Assistant Pastor, following his tenure as Youth Pastor, and is recognized for his mentorship, Biblical expertise, and musical talents as a gospel singer. In his commitment to Christian Biblical Studies, Pastor T established the Bennett J Cortez Bible Institute to foster a deeper comprehension of God's Word through a foundation of living, loving, and learning.
